Wonderful World Wind

World Wind looks to be a wonderful looking Google Earth-like application made by NASA. It is couched as a learning tool that provides crystal, clear satellite imagery of the earth’s terrain in “visually rich 3D”. It is open source so feel free to contribute, however, it currently requires .NET and there’s 16MB to download.
