The Social Space Station is now open for content!

For its lifetime, the Social Space Station has effectively been a solo mission, at least content wise (barring one contribution that is). So, now the time has come to open up shop to all who wish to publish content online but have never had the opportunity to do so.

To assist, the excellent and innovative folks at Tumblr have recently provided a submission system to help encourage community contributions. This means that visitors can submit content to a review process by the site owner (namely me!).

So, for those folks with a burning (or even simmering) desire to publish an opinion, review, comment, video, link, quote, photos, … online, seriously consider submitting your idea to this site. Please read the submission guidelines on the submission form to see how likely it is that your contribution will be published. The form itself is super easy to use (see screenshot below).

In terms of topics relevant for the Social Space Station, your content should discuss (somewhere) any of the following: social internet, social media, Twitter, social network sites, social technologies, virtual worlds, online communities, blogging, innovations, related humour, etc. Basically, I am comfortable with a broad scope to balance out the Twitter obsession. Also, see the tags on the submission form for more guidance on topics.

I want to submit content please.

Well, what are you waiting for?
