No more half-baked links
I tumbled about my automatic Ma.gnolia links being truncated. I’ve finally heard back from the helpdesk people (to be fair they got back to me days ago) and it seems they have reduced the amount of information they’re willing to import from RSS feeds. This means that any links coming from my Ma.gnolia group will continue to look half-baked.
I can understand why Tumblr inc. want to do this. Reasons I thought of include, reducing overheads of importing large feeds and encouraging users to post directly through the Tumblr interface.
In response I have chosen to import the lite version of the Ma.gnolia feed in the hope that the entire title and description are imported again. The tags, other links and thumbnails are now history I’m afraid.
If you have a view on the links I present here, in particular how I can improve them (or ditch them for that matter) then feel free to say so.
