Posterous.com is a new lightweight blogging service. So lightweight in fact, no account is required!
Simply email your post to the email address: post@posterous.com where the subject line is the title and the email body is the content. The idea is that blogging is easier to do from your main desktop app - your email client (although this could happen inside a Web browser). Even nicer is the ability to reply to posts or comments using email also but customisable CSS themes would be nice for those who still like looking the the Websites.
Having said that, I’m not sure what I’ll do with it.
